The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has been recognized yet again as one of the nation’s top areas attracting corporate facility investment.

According to a press release from the Bowling Area Green Chamber of Commerce, the city ranked third among communities with populations less than 200,000 for total economic development projects in 2019.

The Kentucky Museum has been selected to participate in the Museum Assessment Program (MAP), which is administered by the American Alliance of Museums. Through guided self-study and on-site consultation with a museum professional, participation in MAP will empower the Kentucky Museum to better serve the citizens of South Central Kentucky by facilitating its meeting and exceeding the highest professional standards of the museum field.

I-65 Beautification Project on Tap for 2020

Bowling Green will be hard to miss for the millions of people who travel Interstate 65 annually if the BeautifI-65 project is built as expected later this year.

Under the direction of community beautification group Operation P.R.I.D.E., the effort will include four-plank wooden fencing, colorful flags and landscaping at exits 22, 26 and 28, as well as building two gateway signs at exits 20 and 30 for drivers coming to the city from the south and north.
